BEHIND THE PROJECT
The story & the work.
SeeNuBlu needed to connect a weight-management program with the day-to-day work of running a membership business. I built a platform that brought patient intake, lab records, prescriptions, coaching, subscriptions, and educational resources into one system. For the owner, the value was a more organized way to deliver the service and manage the work behind it.
The patient experience
I connected online eligibility applications, staff review, account creation, and treatment consent. Applicants could begin the process remotely and receive acknowledgments and next steps, while staff had a review queue and a consistent onboarding workflow. Approval remained a staff decision, with the software handling the supporting records and communications.
For lab work, I automated the processing of uploaded laboratory exports, matching results to member records and organizing readings, laboratory-supplied flags, and reference limits. Patients could revisit their lab history and download documents, while staff could review the same information from the member record. This gave staff a repeatable way to import lab readings and made results easier to find and review.
I also connected prescription fulfillment records to the patient dashboard. Imported dispatch dates and tracking numbers let patients see when a prescription had been sent and follow its delivery through the carrier. Patients could check shipment status themselves, without asking staff to retrieve the tracking information.
The ongoing member experience
Members could choose a health coach and book from available appointment slots. I connected bookings with virtual meeting setup, including a defined meeting time zone, and sent meeting links and calendar invitations to both the member and coach. That brought scheduling and meeting coordination into the same account members used for the rest of the program.
Between appointments, members could access educational articles, maintain their contact and address details, send messages to staff, and submit structured follow-up forms. These tools gave members practical ways to participate in the program and gave the business a persistent record of questions and progress reports.
I integrated Stripe subscriptions with member records, including individual and company-linked membership arrangements. Subscription reconciliation brought payment status into the management system, supporting a recurring-revenue model and giving staff billing context alongside the member's other information.
Management and administration
I built a searchable management workspace that brought contact details, account status, subscriptions, prescriptions, appointments, and lab records together. Administrators could find members, maintain their information, and move from an eligibility review to onboarding without repeating the account-creation and notification steps separately. This made routine support and coordination easier to manage.
The resource management system let staff create and edit educational articles through a rich-text editor and make them available in the member library. The owner could keep guidance current without needing a developer for every content change, and the team could reuse helpful material across the membership.
I also built a separate job runner for subscription synchronization and member follow-up workflows, alongside release publishing profiles for the web application and job runner. These provided repeatable operational commands and release packaging for the platform and its supporting processes.
For deployments, I set up a server-side shell script that unpacked uploaded release archives, applied the required file permissions, and stopped and restarted the application services. This made release installation a repeatable workflow with fewer manual steps, making ongoing updates more practical for the business.
